Who am I, and what is my objective?
Greetings!
I am a lay Catholic writer and poet, member of the Catholic Writers Guild, and hold an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University with a Master’s Degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University. I belong with my family to St. Raphael the Archangel Church in Antioch, IL, positioned, for all practical purposes, right between Chicago and Milwaukee.
I am a counter-revolutionary committed to the Kingdom of God, the seed on earth of which is the Catholic Church, and to the Catholic Monarchy, the highest form of civil government and the one most resembling the mystical aristocracy that is the Kingdom of God.
(For a complete overview of the concepts and activities guiding my efforts, please visit my Vision and Mission page as well as the website for my parent group, “Joan and Thérèse Enterprises.”)
A counter-revolutionary, an astonishing inspiration being the Armée Catholique et Royale of the Vendée opposing the blasphemous French Republic in the 18th century, defends the Kingdom of God and the nation against the revolutionary forces of spiritual and temporal anarchy (e.g., such as both the French and Bolshevik Revolutions represented and which forces have now co-opted the United States). The counter-revolutionary is the true conservative, who sees the institutional aristocracy of the Catholic Church as the visible sacrament of the mystical Kingdom of God on earth and sees the aristocracy of the Catholic Monarchy as being the highest form of civil government and the one that most conforms temporal society to the order of the mystical Kingdom. The Catholic Church represents the true religion of that Kingdom, being instituted by Jesus Christ as the sole depository of the fullness of God’s revelation. The Catholic Monarchy most represents and imitates the authentic Divine Order of that Kingdom in the social and political realm.
The Monarchy is not about establishing a “kingdom of this earth” on behalf of Jesus but about implementing the form of civil government that most facilitates the reign of the Kingdom of God ON earth. These are two very different objectives. Jesus specifically claimed that He did not seek the former; however, He did instruct us to pray for the latter, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
The Catholic Church is the only hope for mankind, and the Catholic Monarchy is the only hope for the United States and Western Civilization in general. To that last point, I also strongly support the restoration of the Catholic Monarchy in France, the “eldest daughter of the Church,” and all Catholic Monarchies throughout the world.
My core mission is not about writing opinions on current events either inside or outside of the Church. You know where to find all of those sites. However, and I hope that this is not too presumptuous, you may not have seen a site quite like this before.
My core mission is (1) to evangelize the world for the Kingdom, the seed on earth of which is the Catholic Church, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and in the friendship and sisterly care of Sts. Joan and Thérèse, and (2) to transform society and culture through the establishment of a Catholic Monarchy in the United States and the restoration of the Monarchy in France. (See my essay, “The Catholic and Royal Army – join us to save the West!” for more on this subject.)
What is my background?
I am neither a priest nor theologian and hold no lay teaching authority in the Church. My mission simply reflects a response to the call for every Catholic to evangelize the world.
Raised a solid Methodist in the great state of Oklahoma and as one who was also very familiar with the growing influence of independent evangelical communities, I later moved in a different direction and joined the Catholic Church at age twenty-six on Easter of 1985.
The grace of my conversion came about through the Virgin Mary and the intercession of St. Thérèse of Lisieux on the latter’s Feast Day, October 1, 1984. Years later my life was saved, literally in both a physical and spiritual sense, through the Virgin Mary and the intercession of St. Joan of Arc on July 17, 2006, the day we celebrate Joan’s victorious entry into Rheims. I now dedicate my life and writings in honor of my “saintly sisters,” the Virgin Mary, and our mighty Lord in His radiant Divine Mercy. For more on this subject, read my post, “S.T. Martin’s Story.”
Importantly, I enthusiastically and evangelically recommend the True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin as prescribed by Saint Louis de Montfort (and with, of course, the sisterly assistance of Sts. Joan and Thérèse!).
“To Jesus through Mary in the friendship and sisterly care of Sts. Joan and Thérèse!”
My Books
I am the author of “Little Flowers and Fiery Towers,” a self-published (all of my writings are self-published) book of poems and poetic prose in honor of Sts. Joan of Arc and Thérèse of Lisieux. These poetic expressions recount our journey together as we press forward along the magnificent, beautiful, awe-inspiring trail of the Dogmatic Creed toward the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the new heavenly garden of paradise, where Jesus Christ is enthroned in glory as the Son of God, God Himself, and the Savior of the human race.

My book, “Testament for Love – The Pilgrim Dance,” is an organized compendium of blog posts with some additional, never-before-published material. “Testament” is very suited as a complementary meditation aid with “Little Flowers” and is designed to help others build a loving, Marian, Christ, and Church centered relationship with St. Joan and St. Thérèse.
I have also published a small prayer booklet, “The Dove and Rose,” dedicated to St. Joan and St. Thérèse that includes self-composed prayers such as the Consecration to St. Joan and St. Thérèse as well as the Litany of St. Joan of Arc and the Litany of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Additionally you will find other prayers, such as the chaplet of St. Joan of Arc, the Chaplet of St. Thérèse, and the Consecration prayer of St. Louis de Montfort to the Virgin Mary. As a bonus, some of these prayers are translated into French.
Together, these three books make up a prayer, meditation, and poetic resource for those who love, and wish to love more, Sts. Joan and Thérèse!

Walter-
I enjoyed your new poem “Joan of Arc, the Virgin’s weapon for me”
and thought it was very inspiring.

Ben
Thank you Ben! That means much coming from you. I actually drafted that about two years ago, and then put it aside. The other day I felt inspired to bring it out and see if I could finalize it. I appreciate your kind comment.
I’m happy that you found me on Twitter! I am very excited about getting your poetry book “Little Flowers and Fiery Towers.”
Do you ever attend the Medjugorje Peace Conference in Irvine?
Thank you Linda, and God bless you! I appreciate your support. I have not attended the Medjugorje conference. It sounds wonderful. Years ago I had business conferences in Southern CA as well as a sister in the area. Things have changed, so I do not get out there as often as I would like. Hopefully one day! Thank you again!
Interesting blog. Thanks for your efforts, great stuff for the Holy Kingdom of France.
Just as a point above, I, like Fr. Malachi Martin, believe Medjugorje to be a demonic hoax due to the lack of humility of the “seers”. They have used their fame as “seers” to buy fine homes and cars, this simply isn’t authentic. I advise all Catholics to stay clear.
Thank you John. I appreciate you dropping by. I have read some things about Medjugorje that also concern me very much. Quite candidly, I do not pay much attention to Medjugorje. Until the Church makes a decision, I shall be quite content with Fatima, Lourdes, and La Sallette for private devotions. The most important thing is to hold on to the Rock of Peter in Holy Mother Church. I appreciate your words of caution and fraternal concern. Please come back.
