The Desert of St. Therese

SJST
A quiet desert landscape fills my heart
In solitude the stillness clears my view
I long for nothing save our God out here
The land of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
This place is real though being sight unseen
An emptiness aglow with beauty quaint
Out here desire for Jesus grows acute
His resurrection shines so ever faint
The saints live also, filling hearts with joy
They sing and dance in contemplation thus
Their heads now carry crowns so beautiful
They journey by our side to pray with us
The desert of our silent inner soul
The sanctuary for I AM, He said
Traversing through in quiet wonderment
With those I love so much like Saint Thérèse

Le Royaume is the mystical Kingdom of France belonging to Jesus Christ as King of Kings, to the Virgin Mary as our heavenly Queen who holds the Fleur-de-lis dear to her heart, and to Sts. Joan and Thérèse, who are the secondary co-patronesses of France. "To Jesus through Mary in the friendship and sisterly care of Sts. Joan and Thérèse!"
